Hello,
I have a new formal module, that I have populated by copying objects from another module, with associated links. Then, I have created a baseline.
Now that I start modifying this new module, I have noticed that changes to the Object Text do not generate any history record. When looking in the Object Text Attribute definition, I can see that, indeed, the "generate history" tick box in un-checked.
Since this is a system attribute, I am quite puzzled ...
How did this happen ?? What can I do to fix it with my Database Administration rights ??

What version of DOORS? So you use the File menu to create a normal module. Then copy objects with links from another module. Baseline. Definition of Object Text does not have History property checked. Or did you create the module by copying some other module with its objects and links?
Did you spell the attr name correctly; perhaps there's an "Object text" attribute?
Try the Integrity Checker.
I doubt it can be fixed.
Does the LAST attribute in your source module lack History property as well? That is, the LAST one created in the module (not the highest alphabetic one)?

Thanks for your replies. That was on DOORS 9.2.
I was a little bit on a rush, so I workarounded the issue with brute force ;-). I was able to create a new module and copy all objets from the failing module with their links. Fortunatly, the new module works properly regarding the history generation. And I deleted (purged) the old module.
I am just realizing that it may have been useful for reporting/understanding this issue ... Next time, I'll save it !
